Check out the latest animated short film from the Blender Studio.
This week saw the release of the latest Blender Studio short film “Wing It!”. This is the first of a possible series of films under the “Pet Projects” banner which are intended to fit between the studio’s larger projects.
Wing It! is a fun and cartoony film which is quite different in style to some of the Blender Studio’s recent projects. The visual style is one which emulates the look of traditional hand drawn animation through the use of cell shading and non-photorealistic render (NPR) techniques.
During the production, the Blender Studio released a series of blog posts related to the production in addition to a series of behind the scenes production logs which may also be of interest.
